An Analysis of Translations Techniques by Using (GT) Google Translate’s English into Indonesia in English Simple Sentences

The goal of this study was to examine the correlation between accuracy and acceptability or also readability Google Translation’s (GT) English Bahasa Indonesia translations simple sentences. This applied a correlational quantitative research approach using survey research. samples included all students majoring in Language Education Study department fourth semester used purposive sample technique around 35 from STKIP PGRI Sidoarjo. results showed 3 sentences rated ‘very accurate’ (6%). 29 (58%) were deemed ‘accurate’. Then, 11 ‘less (22%). Lastly, 7 (14%) ‘not accurate’. Furthermore, based on SPSS 26 positive constant value 78.884 indicates effect independent variable (GT translation). If changes by one unit, so will GT translation variable. (X) rises questionnaire (Y) rise 0.324, 32.4%. Regarding findings, through basic selected reading texts utilized at Sidoarjo mainly (64%). investigation revealed remarkable occurrence that GT’s mostly accurate.
